Job Title: Java Developer - Enterprise Content Solutions

Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team and help design and build core backend applications that power our enterprise content and document management solutions. This role is perfect for a highly motivated developer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and enjoys solving complex integration challenges. You will work on enterprise application solutions that enable seamless data exchange across diverse applications and platforms, ensuring secure and efficient delivery of content--including documents, images, videos, and other file formats--to internal and external users.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of backend development experience using Java
Strong expertise with Spring Framework and Spring Boot (dependency injection, RESTful services, microservices architecture)
Hands-on experience with Docker (building, deploying, managing containerized applications in cloud or on-prem environments)
Proficient in building and integrating RESTful and SOAP services, with a strong understanding of API design and integration
Skilled in writing, reading, and optimizing SQL queries for relational databases
Familiarity with observability and analytics platforms (e.g., Splunk, Dynatrace)
Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito)
Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, JSP, jQuery, Angular)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Team player with a willingness to learn and grow
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Enterprise Application Integration and scalable integration solutions across enterprise systems
Database integration experience with DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server using JDBC
Familiarity with application servers (JBoss, Tomcat, or similar Java EE servers)
Proficiency with structured data formats (XML, JSON) for data exchange/serialization
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), servlet development, and front-end integration (JSTL, EL, jQuery UI, custom tags/plugins)
Comfortable with Linux and Windows operating systems
Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA (Sprint workflow, Kanban boards)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain backend applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot
Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP services for reliable and efficient data exchange
Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker
Optimize database queries and ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems
Implement observability best practices to monitor application performance and reliability
Collaborate with front-end teams to ensure smooth integration and consistent user experience
Write and maintain unit and integration tests to support high-quality code delivery
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
