Job Title: Data Migration Lead

Contract: 6 months (initial)

Day Rate: Up to PS500 (Outside IR35)

Location: Gloucester - 1 day on site per week

We're supporting a major system implementation programme moving a highly customised on-premise legacy solution into a new cloud environment. To lead the data migration workstream, we're looking for an experienced consultant with a strong track record delivering migration strategies in complex enterprise settings.

Key Responsibilities

Own the data migration workstream from planning through to execution.
Define and deliver migration strategies for large-scale enterprise environments.
Engage with stakeholders across business and technical teams to align on scope, risks, and dependencies.
Oversee quality, validation, and reconciliation activities throughout the migration.
Provide leadership on tooling, processes, and best practice.

Essential Experience

Proven experience leading end-to-end data migration projects in enterprise organisations.
Strong background in cloud migration programmes.
Hands-on knowledge of data mapping, transformation, validation, and cutover.
Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work with both technical and business leaders.
Comfortable working in complex, customised environments.

Contract Details

6-month initial contract with potential extension.
Outside IR35.
Up to PS500 per day.
1 day per week required on site in Gloucester.
