Where will you be working?
As an organisation, there is little we don't do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.
This role is in our Learning and development team within the People department. You can be based anywhere in the UK however travel will be required across England, Scotland and Wales and could be up to 3 days a week.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you will take the lead in expanding our Graduate and Apprentice Development Programmes. You'll work closely with stakeholders to identify needs, then create and deliver high-quality learning materials that make a real difference.
You'll collaborate with our other L&D Specialists to design and deliver impactful Leadership Development Programmes, empowering leaders with practical skills that boost employee engagement. You'll create online guides, to support our "Learning Together" Hub which provides self service learning for all of our teams.
You'll host dynamic virtual 'Learning Live' sessions that inspire participants to apply their skills effectively, and you'll provide personalised coaching--both one-to-one and in groups--to help learners put their knowledge into practice. You'll partner with stakeholders to deliver solutions that align with business priorities and change initiatives, and work with external training providers to enhance our internal offering.
You'll evaluate the effectiveness of programmes through surveys, analysis and feedback, and you'll work closely with our Digital Learning team to create innovative, engaging content that supports subject matter experts and enhances the employee experience.
What you'll bring
Excellent facilitation skills
Experience in learning needs analysis, course design, delivery and evaluation
Ability to create highly engaging interactive learning material
Creation and delivery of Leadership Development Programmes
Ability to influence and communicate with a broad range of stakeholders, across all levels of the organisation
Experience of creating intranet material
Insights Discovery Accreditation or equivalent (is an advantage)
Coaching experience and/or qualification (is an advantage)
