Primary Services is actively recruiting for a Senior Risk Assurance Analyst to support a large, forward-thinking client in the energy sector. This role is essential in safeguarding operations by ensuring third-party partners meet rigorous security standards. As part of a dynamic risk and compliance team, you will assess vendor security practices, identify risks, and partner with internal stakeholders to mitigate vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

Perform vendor security assessments to evaluate security maturity and identify deficiencies.
Analyze security attestations, audit reports, questionnaires, and memos to ensure compliance with required standards.
Identify and reduce potential risks during third-party security evaluations.
Provide continuous monitoring of third-party vendors for vulnerabilities, breaches, and security trends.
Maintain documentation of vendor assessments and communicate risks and remediation requirements to business stakeholders.
Support the development and maintenance of program metrics and risk reporting for management review.
Collaborate with internal teams and business partners to ensure seamless vendor onboarding and security integration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, IT, or related field preferred.
1-4 years of experience in risk assessments, security assurance, IT operations, or IT audit control testing.
Minimum 2 years of project management and process improvement experience.
Experience working with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
Familiarity with common security control frameworks and enterprise IT solutions.
Ability to evaluate, document, and communicate third-party security deficiencies effectively.
Strong technical knowledge of information technology tools and current security practices.
Proficiency in writing, documentation, and reporting of risk findings.
