For the Jr. Data & Analytics Strategist role at S+G, we are looking for someone with 1+ years of experience and knowledge in SEM / PPC for paid search and social platforms, digital marketing, data and analytics, and client communication. We also want someone who is up for the challenges and opportunities that come with working for a scaleup, growth company.

Schedule: Full time

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 annually, (dependent on experience), additional quarterly profit sharing bonuses are available after probation is completed

Office Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (remote first)

Daily Responsibilities:

Working on SEM / PPC for paid ad platforms including Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Amazon Ads, Google Ads and Google Analytics to build new campaigns, optimize existing campaigns and improve performance for our clients.
Data and tracking integration for campaign reporting, analysis, and insights
Acting as a trusted point of contact for our clients to discuss account performance, new ideas and next steps to help them achieve the best return on investment.
Developing positive relationships that reflect true partnership in achieving the objectives of the client's business.
Reviewing and analyzing campaign performance data (e.g., within Google Analytics (GA4), Salesforce, HubSpot, etc) to develop actionable insights that assist with strategic planning, KPI improvement, and growth.
Collaborating with our Digital Designers to develop creative ads that speak to the clients' brand and audience.
Help to grow startups, scaleups and enterprise clients through clever and strategic digital marketing.
Monitor platform updates to anticipate any potential issues for our clients and share these with the team.

What We're Looking For:

Co-op or relevant work experience with SEM and PPC for paid search and social ad platforms (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc) OR
Co-op or relevant work experience with data analytics experience in a technical environment, including SQL-based data extraction and reporting, implementation and debugging of tracking via GA4 and Google Tag Manager, event tagging and discrepancy troubleshooting, and familiarity with APIs, data connectors (e.g., BigQuery, Funnel.io), and basic scripting in Python or JavaScript for automation or analysis.
Adaptability with a strong desire to continuously learn and develop your skills.
Drive to continuously grow our S+G client roster and team through providing exceptional customer service with a focus on nurturing relationships and proactive problem solving.
An interest and proactivity in setting up tracking and integrations to collect campaign performance data, including exposure to Google Tag Manager and Facebook Pixels.
An analytical mindset showing accuracy and proficiency with numbers and data, with an ability to build reports and exhibit confidence when presenting findings.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment with a continued emphasis on project detail.
Strong communication skills both internally and client facing with a friendly demeanour and the ability to clearly deliver rationale for strategic approaches.
The ability to accept constructive feedback and apply changes where required.
Critical thinking skills with the capacity to develop unique approaches to problem
