Job Role - Tools Engineer- DevOps
Job Title: Tools Engineer

Note: Candidates must be willing to become internal after 1 year.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and maintain development tools and CI/CD infrastructure in collaboration with IS/IT.
Automate development, testing, release, and support processes (DevOps/DevSecOps).
Ensure operational stability and scalability of CI/CD pipelines.
Deploy cybersecurity measures, including vulnerability assessments and risk management.
Provide tools expertise to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Facilitate collaboration between software engineers, testers, and IS/IT teams.
Recommend new tools and processes aligned with market trends and Thales Group standards.
Required Skills & Experience
Education & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering.
Minimum 3 years' professional experience in tools engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Linux (CentOS/RedHat, Ubuntu).
Strong knowledge of shell scripting.
Experience with virtualization & orchestration: VMware, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools: Git, JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory.
Experience with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Jaeger, Open Telemetry.
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgresQL, Cassandra, MongoDB).
Understanding of HTTP protocols & components (NGINX, httpd, HAProxy).
Knowledge of data flows across ERP (OCM, Odoo), PLM (Windchill), and BI tools (PowerBI).
Interest in cybersecurity (SSL, certificates, SAST/DAST, penetration testing, secure by design).
Commitment to software quality.

Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Native French with professional proficiency in English.
Nice-to-Have (Preferred)
Experience with testing frameworks (Robot Framework, Cucumber/BDD).
Programming knowledge: Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Groovy, Lua.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/Google Cloud also valued).
Background in large distributed or embedded software systems.
