Job Specifications

Responsibilities

Architect and manage enterprise-grade Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS, GKE, or OpenShift).
Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines and implement GitOps methodologies.
Drive automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, etc.).
Define and enforce security standards (RBAC, Pod Security Standards, vulnerability scanning).
Implement observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
Optimize resource usage and cost efficiency of Kubernetes workloads.
Mentor and guide junior/mid-level engineers in Kubernetes best practices.
Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and capacity planning.
Collaborate with architecture and development teams on cloud-native strategy.

Required Skills

6+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles, with 4+ years in Kubernetes.
Deep expertise in Kubernetes networking, storage, and security.
Strong knowledge of Docker, Helm, Operators, and service mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
Advanced proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible).
Solid programming/scripting skills (Go, Python, or Bash).
Strong cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Hands-on experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams.

Preferred Skills

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and/or Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS).
Experience with high-scale production systems.
Knowledge of security frameworks for containerized environments.
Experience with multi-cluster and hybrid cloud setups.
