Job Overview:
The Application Security Lead will be responsible for ensuring the security of applications by identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and collaborating with development teams to integrate security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires a deep understanding of application security principles, tools, and methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Conduct security assessments and code reviews to identify vulnerabilities in applications.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
Develop and implement security policies, standards, and guidelines for application security.
Monitor and respond to security incidents related to applications.
Provide training and guidance to development teams on secure coding practices.
Stay updated on the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
Proven experience in application security, including vulnerability assessment and secure coding practices.
Familiarity with security tools such as static and dynamic analysis tools.
Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10 and other security frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CSSLP are a plus.

Pay Range: $65 - $70
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
