About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Windev Developer (Freelance) to join our client's high-impact Scrum team in Brussels for a 6-month engagement. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining mission-critical HR applications for leading Social Security institutions. What You'll Be Doing

Designing, developing, and maintaining advanced HR management applications using Windev.
Taking ownership of new feature development based on project priorities set by the team lead.
Conducting rigorous testing of functionalities developed by peers to ensure quality and reliability.
Participating in operational follow-up and providing on-site maintenance or intervention at client locations as needed.
Actively contributing to team brainstorming sessions on the architecture and design of new modules.
Collaborating within a Scrum framework, ensuring agile delivery and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

Proven expertise in Windev development, with a strong track record in building and maintaining management applications (procedural and object-oriented).
Deep knowledge of relational databases and advanced SQL skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, with a builder's mindset focused on outcomes and impact.
Autonomous, methodical, and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Passionate about new technologies, with a drive for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Excellent communication skills and a user-centric approach to problem-solving.

Windev (Expert level)
Relational Databases (Expert level)
SQL (Expert level)

Language Proficiency

Dutch: Native
English: Active knowledge
French: Active knowledge (passive understanding required)

Other Requirements

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Empathy for end users and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
On-site presence in Brussels required (no remote option)
