Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Leeds (Onsite once a week)

Contract Type: 6 Months, Inside IR35

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join Mastek on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure solutions on AWS. This role requires strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and collaboration across DevOps, Security, and Application teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure AWS infrastructure solutions.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and establish best practices.
Monitor and optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and integrate infrastructure automation into the software development lifecycle.
Maintain accurate documentation for infrastructure architecture, standards, and processes.
Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards across cloud environments.

Key Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services.
Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery planning.
Solid understanding of security and compliance frameworks in cloud environments.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
