The Role

We're seeking an experienced HubSpot Developer to join our team on a contract basis with the possibility of transitioning to full-time employment.

This is a remote role, but we strongly prefer candidates based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) or within the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone for easier collaboration with our team.

As a HubSpot Developer, you will be the go-to technical expert for building, customizing, and optimizing HubSpot CMS websites, landing pages, templates, and workflows. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and marketers to ensure smooth, high-performing digital experiences that help our clients achieve their goals.

Your work will directly support campaign execution, marketing automation, and the efficiency of our client's marketing and sales funnels.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain HubSpot CMS websites, landing pages, email templates, and custom modules.
Build responsive, accessible, and SEO-optimized layouts that perform beautifully across devices.
Configure and manage HubSpot CRM, workflows, and automation to streamline client marketing and sales processes.
Integrate third-party tools and APIs to extend HubSpot's capabilities.
Collaborate with designers to turn wireframes and mockups into polished, functional digital assets.
Troubleshoot and debug templates, scripts, and workflows for reliability and performance.
Stay current with HubSpot product updates, emerging best practices, and industry standards.
Provide guidance to internal teams and contribute to process improvement.

Requirements

Proven experience as a HubSpot Developer or in a HubSpot-focused role.
Proficiency in HubSpot CMS, HubL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience creating custom modules and working with HubSpot themes.
Familiarity with HubSpot CRM, marketing automation, and workflow configuration.
Strong grasp of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
Experience integrating HubSpot with third-party applications and APIs.
Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal) -- must be comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical team members.
Detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for clean, scalable code.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools outside HubSpot.
Experience with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, etc.).
