Job Specifications

Our client, a global biomedical company focused on the development and commercialization of blood management products, is currently seeking a Quality Technician to join their state-of-art facility in Pittsburgh for a 3-month contract with the potential to extend.

This person will be responsible for supporting quality control operations by performing sorting, sampling, and rework of defective or suspect products. This role is critical to ensuring only conforming products are released to the next stage of processing or to the customer. These individuals will maintain compliance with ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and other applicable regulations, and work cross-functionally to support production and quality initiatives. The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in doing the right thing, even when no one is watching, and who works with integrity, responsibility, and a strong commitment to product quality and safety.

Qualifications

Keen attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Strong teamwork abilities
Intuitive and works well alone with minimal supervision
Solid handwritten reporting abilities
Solid experience with SOPs
Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Experience in a regulated industry preferred
GMMP/GDP experience preferred

Salary: $21/hr
