Job Description
**Job Title:** Investment Trade Operations Analyst **Role Summary:** Provide back‑office support for daily mutual fund investment and trading activities, ensuring accurate trade processing, cash management, and portfolio reconciliation while adhering to strict deadlines. **Expectations:** - Temporary assignment (≈6 months) with potential for permanent placement. - Full‑time (40 hrs/week) schedule. - Deliver accurate trade and cash reconciliations within established timeframes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Research and resolve trade discrepancies with brokers and custodian banks. - Initiate, amend, and settle trades, including foreign exchange transactions. - Prepare and execute wire transfers for fund investments. - Process and reconcile cash transactions and daily/monthly asset positions. - Perform daily and monthly asset‑cash reconciliations and client reporting. - Analyze portfolio asset reports and monitor cash flows, expenses, collateral, and income receivables. - Use Bloomberg to investigate portfolio variances and incorrect holdings. - Document and report variances and holdings errors. **Required Skills:** - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (advanced spreadsheet functions). - Ability to work collaboratively and meet tight deadlines. - Effective communication with internal teams, brokers, and custodians. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (preferably Finance or related field). - Internship or up to 1 year relevant experience in financial services or asset management.
