Our client is one of the leader on the Beauty Box market.

For this role (permanent position), you are a real hunter with prospecting abilities, your speak native German AND you have already a portfolio of German cosmetics brands contacts.

Business Developer - German speaker

Localisation : can be remote from Germany or France, or if based in Paris area - work in the Paris Office (city center).

For this role, you have to be bilingual in German AND English, French is a plus.

Role Overview

The Business Developer is responsible for reaching out to cosmetic brands and source products from brands settled in the German Market to complete our monthly beauty box offering.

This includes identify and contact innovative brands (skincare, makeup, haircare, perfume, accessories) of the German market to convince them to include their products into our boxes, ensuring partnership follow-up, and optimizing the diversity of products offered to meet subscriber expectations.

Quantity of products expected is 1 to 2 products per box each month meaning 25 to 60 000 quantities to be sourced.

You will act as the key liaison between cosmetic brands and internal teams.

Main Responsibilities

Product Sourcing: Identify and source products for our monthly box
Brand Prospecting & Portfolio Development: Conduct market research, approach new brands, and develop the brand portfolio.
Partner Relationship Management: Negotiate partnership conditions (products offered or highly discounted) and maintain relationships with partner brands.
Annual Negotiation Management: Lead annual renegotiations of commercial agreements with Brands

Key skills and qualifications expected :

Market Knowledge : Excellent understanding of the German beauty market, including emerging brands, clean beauty, and niche local players.

Negotiation & Communication

Proven ability to negotiate large volumes at low costs, often in exchange for products vs visibility.
Bilingual-level of German, bilingual in French or English.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, Impactful pitch & ability to leverage the visibility offered by our client
Ability to build long-term partnerships and contributing to retention beyond the box.
