Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Chargeback Analyst - Halifax to join their team. As a Chargeback Analyst - Halifax, you will be part of the Fraud Claims Department supporting the Customer Support and Fraud Investigation teams. Halifax
Location:Halifax, NS
Pay Range: 22.50$/hr
Shift: Mon to Friday 8AM to 4PM
Training is onsite and then Hybrid ( 2 to 3 times a week in office)
What's the Job?
Interact directly with clients via phone to advise on reimbursements and chargebacks, ensuring resolution within service level agreements
Process reimbursements and chargebacks for personal and business accounts while maintaining high customer service standards
Use standard Scripting and privacy policies to communicate effectively and mitigate reputational risks
Collaborate with internal partners to investigate and resolve fraud cases efficiently
Document all actions and resolutions accurately using standard templates and systems
What's Needed?
Ability to analyze account activity and supporting documents to identify high-risk accounts and fraud patterns
Effective communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams while adhering to privacy policies
Knowledge of fraud activities such as skimming, money laundering, and disputed transactions
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all clerical and administrative tasks
Proficiency with CIBC applications including COINS, COLT, PRM, IBCS, IRIS, Excel, and Outlook
