HUSKY Technologies is seeking a process-oriented, mature, and self-starting Cost/Tariff Financial Analyst to play a critical role in accurately calculating tariff costs on Husky's product offerings. Reporting to the Finance Director, Global Operations, the successful candidate will apply established methodologies and formulas to support Sales, Trade Compliance, and Finance teams in managing tariff-related financials.

This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Calculate tariff costs on specified commodities within Husky's shipments using established models and methodologies.
Perform tariff calculations using existing models aligned with project priority lists.
Implement minor modifications to tariff models to address new scenarios or additional requirements from Trade Compliance (TC) and other stakeholders.
Identify and communicate any inconsistencies in tariff cost calculations to ensure accuracy and alignment with key stakeholders in a timely manner.
Proactively follow up with factories, solutioning teams, Global Supply Chain, and Trade Compliance to gather inputs, resolve conflicting data, and ensure timely, accurate tariff calculations to keep shipments moving smoothly.
Identify, communicate, and escalate any tariff cost inconsistencies to maintain accuracy and alignment with key stakeholders.
Document all calculations and supporting work by project sales order item in the Trade Compliance SharePoint site, following standard procedures that support potential audits.

JOB RELATED COMPETENCIES:

Solid knowledge and experience in manufacturing cost accounting, including bill of materials costing.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to work professionally under tight deadlines and time constraints.
Self-starter with excellent communication skills, able to interact with all departments and organizational levels.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel, including advanced use of pivot tables, graphs, and complex formulas involving multiple data sources.
Practical problem-solving skills with a willingness to seek assistance promptly when required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Solid understanding of Manufacturing Cost Accounting
3-5 years' experience working in Finance role with a dynamic manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or finance
