Job Specifications
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Analyst to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that could impact the organization's financial performance, operations, or compliance obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, analyze, and monitor financial, operational, strategic, and compliance risks
Conduct risk assessments across departments and develop recommendations to mitigate exposure
Analyze historical data, trends, and market conditions to forecast potential risks
Prepare reports and dashboards for senior management summarizing key risk indicators (KRIs)
Assist in the development and maintenance of risk policies, procedures, and internal controls
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, compliance, audit, and legal
Support enterprise risk management (ERM) and business continuity planning initiatives
Stay current with regulatory developments, industry trends, and emerging risks
Assist with audits, regulatory reviews, and internal investigations as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Risk Management, or a related field
2+ years of experience in risk analysis, internal audit, compliance, or related roles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel, data visualization, and risk modeling tools
Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
