Role Overview

Position: Mathematics PhD Expert - Contractor, Remote
Commitment: 15-20 hours per week, potential for 40 hours per week
Duration: Minimum of 1-2 months
Contribute subject matter expertise to a project involving state-of-the-art large language models. Help create high-quality data to inform the future of AI innovation.

Responsibilities

Develop challenging problems in Mathematics to enhance AI model training.
Evaluate the quality and relevance of AI-generated content in the field of Mathematics.
Collaborate with AI research teams to refine model outputs and improve accuracy.
Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and contribute to continuous improvement.
Provide detailed feedback to ensure the rigor of training data and solutions.

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

Mathematics PhD from a top US, UK, Canadian, or European university
High attention to detail
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent proficiency in English

Engagement Details

Contract Type: Hourly Contractor
Compensation: Paid weekly via Stripe Connect
Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous
Start Date: Ongoing from August with rolling applications
