Overview and purpose of role:
The overall objective of the department is to provide effective support to the European Retail business, ensuring operational excellence.
In the capacity of Retail Operations Manager, you will lead the Retail Operations Department based in Paris and London, maintaining alignment and consistency across the team.
You will take full ownership of all Retail Operations across the region, including but not limited to - maintenance, health and safety, project management, including operational and commercial projects, and involvement in wider Retail Operations responsibilities.
You should be an effective people manager, able to manage multiple projects and priorities across the region, whilst driving and motivating your team.
You will also support various Retail Projects including new openings, refurbishments, pop ups and any major projects affecting Retail.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
Retail Operations
Ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations across Retail, Europe.
Store Maintenance including shopfloor and back-of-house areas to create optimal environment for both client experience and for our retail teams.
Budget Management ensuring any expenditure is in line with projections and cost-saving measures are implemented where possible.
Health and Safety compliance in alignment to market regulations.
Formulate strong internal and external Business Partner Relations to achieve the needs of the region.
Coordination on all legal matters relating to the department, e.g. negotiation of new supplier agreements, or appointment of contractors for Store Projects.
Team onboarding, training and development to drive high performance culture and achieve departmental excellence.
Project management of Retail Projects which is not limited to Pop-Ups, Store Openings or Renovations.
Perform regular Retail audits to ensure compliance across store activities such as security and cash management.
Monitor Stock & Inventory Management working alongside Retail Stock Manager, Europe, to support on KPIs.
Skills and Requirements:

Ability to lead a team to drive success

Ability to think strategically and to anticipate and plan ahead
Experience with remote management
Risk adverse mindset
Proactive and ability to work autonomously
Well versed in European H&S Regulations
Strong communication and influencing skills
Strong negotiation skills
Proficient IT skills and presentation skills
Proficiency in both French and English
