We are looking, on behalf of our client, for a Financial Regulatory Business Analyst to join their consulting team and support leading institutions in the financial services sector.

The role focuses on helping clients maintain robust and sustainable compliance while optimizing compliance-related costs. As a Business Analyst, you will act as a key link between business teams and technical experts, ensuring the successful design and delivery of compliance initiatives.

You will contribute to regulatory impact assessments, risk management, and reporting obligations, while ensuring operational readiness and supporting effective governance

Key Responsibilities

Conduct and maintain detailed assessments of regulatory compliance
Ensure operational processes and procedures align with regulatory expectations
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams
Analyze business operations, identify issues and opportunities, and recommend effective solutions
Translate business requirements into structured and clear documentation
Support the deployment of system or process changes by advising and guiding internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Assist in test execution phases with business end-users
Monitor regulatory and market changes impacting the financial sector
Contribute to internal knowledge development and the creation of regulatory-focused service offerings

Profile

More than 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance and/or business analysis roles
Solid knowledge of key regulations in Financial Markets & Payments (EU/Intl.) or in Banking & Prudential, or Data & Operational Risks, with expertise in at least one of the following: MIFID, EMIR, ESG, PSD, PSR, FATCA, CRS, IRD, FINREP, COREP, Solvency, Basel, CCD, and a good understanding of banking operations.
Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical operational plans
Experience in agile project environments is a plus
Excellent coordination, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English and either French or Dutch, with a good understanding of the other language
