Our client is a global leading high tech and social media network company:

-Over 7,500 employees across 25+ offices;

-Fast growing;

-Cutting edge AR and VR technologies, 3D printing, etc.

They are looking for an IT infrastructure field engineer/IT Field Technician to join their brand new Paris office:

-Install and maintain network technologies to help build global offices & Data centres

-Act as the first point of contact for IT infrastructure operational needs

-Provide strong documentation and cross training for IT support

-Manage integration vendors, supply chain distributors, and internet service providers to

resolve issues within agreed SLA's and execute network deployments

-Collaborate with Global Workplace Experience, Security Technology, AV and other build

teams to provide planning, coordination, logistics.

-Create SOPs for ITIE supported hardware

Requirements:

-3 years+ experience, the closest fit would be an IT field engineer and they are open to profiles like data centre technician or IT support technician with good network and hardware experience;

-Good working knowledge in IT hardware, structured cabling (Cat5E, Cat6, Cat6A), Optical Fiber cable Installation and Data center deployments.

-Good knowledge in various types of network switches and testing.

-Knowledge of power backup systems such as Eaton uninterrupted power supplies.

-Strong Communications and user interaction skills

-Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently

-Fluent English & French

Initially 1 year full time contract and will extend yearly afterwards. We are open to freelance or umbrella company set up.

-3 days per week on site at Paris office (75008);

-Open to travel once to twice a month to other DC sites (mostly EU such as London, Germany, very occasionally to Dubai)

-There is one day every two weeks may require later start and finish working hours

-Offer up to 300 Euro per day (gross) negotiable based on experience plus benefits.
