You will join the NATO Integrated Mobile Service Centre, which provides NATO and its partners with scalable, protected, secure, reliable, and integrated Wireless Communication-based Services with a focus on NATO Operations, Crisis Response, Missions, Exercises and Business Continuity. The NIMSC Chief is responsible for planning and executing all lifecycle management activities for centre's following services: strategy, design, transition, operation and continuous service improvement including subject matter expertise, research and development, acquisition and logistic support.

About The Job

We are recruiting across two levels as part of a joint campaign within NIMSC:

Principal Service Manager (G20) - Braine l'Alleud, Belgium
Senior Service Manager (G17) - Mons, Belgium

Both positions are central to delivering the Agency's portfolio of services and act as the key interface between NATO customers and the NCI Agency. You will lead international teams responsible for service agreements, demand management, workforce planning, monitoring and reporting, and local project management.

You will:

Direct the delivery of technology services, ensuring agreed service levels, security requirements and quality standards are met.
Oversee budgets, continuity and risk management, and drive continual service improvement.
Manage contracts, monitoring KPIs, supplier performance, and implementing change protocols.
Provide strong leadership to multinational teams, ensuring effective use of resources and customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain close engagement with NATO stakeholders and national representatives, ensuring transparent communication and informed decision-making.

The G20 role carries broader accountability for service strategy, portfolio-level improvements, and larger-scale budgets.

The G17 role focuses on operational delivery, business process improvement, and local service optimisation.

About You

You bring:

A university degree in a relevant discipline (Master's + 5 years for G20; Bachelor's + 3 years for G17; or equivalent extensive experience can be considered in some cases).
Significant experience in service management within a large international or governmental IT support organisation.
Proven record of leading cross-functional teams, managing service budgets, and delivering continual improvement.
ITIL(r) 4 Foundation certification.
Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work in an international environment.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Desirable:

Further certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, ITIL Managing Professional.
Familiarity with NATO responsibilities, processes or other large international organisations.
Knowledge of deployable CIS, telecommunications, or enterprise IT tools such as ServiceNow.
Operational field or maritime experience (particularly relevant to the G17 role).

The basic salary for a G17 in Belgium is - 7,970.25 Euros Per Month

The basic salary for a G20 in Belgium is - 9,253.21 Euros Per Month

The Ottowa Agreement grants NATO International Staff exepmption from host country taxes on official salaries and emoluments.
