Job Specifications

Primary Talent Partners has 3 new contract openings for Security Technicians with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay: $38.00 - $43.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.

Skill/Experience in:
Programming Physical Access Control System (PACS) access points/ security components (readers, monitor points, outputs, etc.) within the access control system.
Experience with programming within Video Management Systems (i.e., NVRs, Cameras, Analytics)
Troubleshooting techniques regarding security components (PACS/VMS) that malfunction
Testing security components within the PACS / VMS with field testers to ensure components are operating properly once brought online.
Communicates effectively with teammates and other business areas on project tasks progression and/or challenges.
2 CWs will have the standard, office work placed on a current project with potential for longevity depending how the work goes.

The 3rd CW will be more of an onsite/field liaison who will have 50-75% travel associated with the role.
PPE will be required, lots of walking. Should still have the technical background but may have prior experience with light project management. Intergrader/installer experience would stand out; these candidates should be used to being on the road and be familiar with the safety standards of a jobsite.
