Job Description
We are seeking a Network Security Engineer who will design and deliver complex security solutions aligned with the Cybersecurity roadmap. This role involves engineering secure systems, supporting regulatory compliance, collaborating with architects, and ensuring operational resilience in a high-velocity environment.
You will act as a subject matter expert for key security technologies, drive architecture and policy enhancements, and oversee implementations across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, design, and develop enterprise security solutions with Cybersecurity architects.
Act as SME during escalations and provide technical leadership for supported technologies.
Validate current/future architecture models and ensure alignment with Cybersecurity strategy.
Guide infrastructure, operations, and development teams during implementations.
Manage vendor relationships and maintain awareness of next-gen designs and threats.
Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory, and legal requirements (PCI-DSS, SOX).
Required Skills
Web Security & Proxy Solutions
Hands-on with Netskope SWG, CASB, DLP policies and configurations.
Expertise with Broadcom Web Proxy & WSS, including migrations and upgrades.
Experience with Palo Alto firewall policies (URL/content filtering).
Secure Remote Access
Strong knowledge of Cisco ASA/Firepower, AnyConnect VPN, Palo Alto GlobalProtect.
Network segmentation, access control, secure connectivity.
Secure Remote Access platform migrations.
Policy & Configuration Management
Enterprise security policy design/implementation across multiple platforms.
Strong SWG, CASB, and firewall best practices (cloud, on-prem, hybrid).
Policy tuning to minimize business disruption.
Automation & Scripting
Proficient in Python for automation, reporting, integrations.
Ansible for configuration management and deployments.
Familiarity with GitHub for version control.
Engineering & Architecture
Design/implement complex security architectures.
Experience with large-scale migrations & integrations.
Knowledge of security protocols, encryption, and secure network design.
AWS cloud security best practices.
Dashboarding with Grafana, SolarWinds.
Analytical & Troubleshooting
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis.
Ability to correlate logs/data across platforms.
Skilled in Linux shell administration.
Additional Skills
Excellent documentation & communication (technical & non-technical).
Ability to mentor junior engineers.
Strong stakeholder/vendor management.
Familiar with compliance standards (PCI-DSS, SOX).
