Platform Engineer - Integration

Leeds (Hybrid)

PS80,000 per annum + 10% bonus

Overview:

We're looking for a Platform Engineer - Integration to lead and grow our integration capability. You'll work in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment supporting an evolving industry platform.

This role offers hands-on leadership responsibility with the flexibility to shape integration strategy, tooling, and architecture. We're not wedded to one solution -- you'll have the freedom to explore and implement the best-fit technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of integration engineers and specialists

- Design, build, and maintain integration solutions using Boomi and other iPaaS platforms (e.g. MuleSoft, Workato)

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate integration needs into technical specifications

- Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of integration workflows

- Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues, delivering timely solutions

- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in the integration space

- Document integration architecture, processes, and data flows

Required Experience:

- 4+ years of experience in integration engineering

- 2+ years of experience in a leadership or team lead capacity

- Strong hands-on experience with Boomi and/or other iPaaS platforms

- Solid understanding of REST and SOAP web services

- Proficiency in XML, JSON, and SQL

- Experience with both cloud-based and on-premise integrations

- Boomi certification (preferred but not essential)

Key Skills:

- Boomi, MuleSoft, or Workato

- iPaaS integration

- Team leadership and technical mentoring

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
