Job Specifications

Our consultancy client is looking to hire a Product Designer in a long term, remote capacity.

This will start in Mid October, and will be 12+ months, 40 hours per week, REMOTE.

For this role, you must have active Reliability Clearance.

There is a focus on high proficiency in Figma and ability to use components/component library, less so on making new components.

Day to day activities:

" Working alongside UX researcher and rely on qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions.

" Working with UX researcher to coordinate testing efforts, deliver design prototypes and wireframes, interpret test results, and incorporate insights into designs.

" Understanding and working with technical constraints, user goals and business requirements.

" Identifying new product improvement opportunities and identify gaps in the product experience.

" Ensuring that designs are aligned with company-wide systems, components and patterns.

" Leading design thinking activities with internal teams, senior leadership and customers Work closely with product engineers to validate feasibility and improvements for product and processes.

" Presenting design ideas and requirements to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

" Engaging with developers and quality assurance analysts to understand the platform's capabilities, communicate design specifications, and verify implemented designs.

" Support and use the selected departmental methodologies and relevant templates

" Producing compelling visual deliverables to illustrate desired customer experiences and provide detailed specifications for software developers.
