Job Specifications

Courage Inc. is looking for an experienced Talent & Traffic Manager to cover a 1 year mat-leave contract. This is a full-time position.

This role will include talent management and both broadcast and digital trafficking. Training will be provided by the current talent & traffic manager but we're looking for someone who can learn quickly and has base experience in either broadcast or digital trafficking.

Talent:

- Draft non-union talent agreements

- Negotiate renewal fees with agents / prepare talent estimates

- Talent rate estimates

- Process payments

- Insure talent with WSIB or Worksafe BC

- Track usage for talent/music/image rights

- Process any talent related invoices

Traffic (TV)

- Submit scripts, product specifications and request approvals through telecaster, ASC and Extreme Reach

- Commercial ID's

- Assist with creative upload to distribution vendors

- Coordinate/traffic with media agencies to ensure spots are delivered on time

Traffic (Digital)

- Support the account team with digital trafficking by:

- Filling in trafficking sheets with creative copy

- Linking the assets to the traffic sheets

Misc:

- Setup new vendors

- Pay invoices

- Coordinate with production and accounts to ensure that all talent related responsibilities are handled

Soft Skills

- Attention to detail

- Problem solving

- Excellent communication

Hard Skills

- Familiarity with G-Suite (Gmail, G-Sheets, etc)

Not Required, But Preferred

- Familiarity with Extreme Reach / Yangaroo

- Familiarity with ThinkTV, ASC, Extreme Reach Clearances

- Netsuite experience
