Supply Planner
Contract until 30/04/2026
London (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
Key Responsibilities
Own the short, medium, and long-term supply planning horizon for assigned brands.
Partner with demand planning, procurement, 3P manufacturing sites, logistics, and commercial teams to align supply and business priorities.
Actively contribute to S&OP cycles through DSR (demand supply reconciliation), proactively identifying supply risks (stockouts, capacity, materials) and drive scenario planning, recommendations and mitigation actions.
Balance inventory across multiple warehouses, support initiatives to rationalize slow-moving/obsolete inventory, and reduce waste to minimizing working capital while maintaining high fill rates.
Lead transitions of manufacturing locations, ensuring continuity of supply during transfers. Plan and execute phase-in/phase-out strategies, build inventory buffers, and coordinate with operations on new site qualifications.
Partner with a cross-functional project team (R&D, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain Strategy) to execute innovation launches and pack changes.
Collaborate with re-packers on secondary packaging, value-added services, and promotional display builds.
Coach support resources to execute transactional planning activities (e.g., master data updates, reporting, PO/order execution).
Leverage planning systems (Kinaxis) and analytics to improve responsiveness and accuracy.
Key Requirements
Experience in supply planning or end-to-end planning experience, preferably in consumer goods.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills; excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation skills & advanced excel skills.
Demonstrated success in balancing inventory, service, and cost in fast-paced, high-change environments.
Proven ability to lead and engage cross-functional teams with accountability and ownership.
Self-starter with the ability to deliver results in a lean, agile organization and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong knowledge of ERP/APS systems (SAP, Kinaxis, o9, or similar) and Excel modelling.
