About The Role

As a Senior Sales Executive at FIS, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic sales initiatives across the UK and Ireland. This position focuses on promoting our market-leading core banking and payments solutions to financial institutions, helping them modernize operations and enhance customer experiences. You'll be part of a high-performing team, working in a dynamic fintech environment where innovation and client success are at the heart of everything we do.

What You Will Be Doing

Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to grow revenue across core banking and payments portfolios
Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision-makers at Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks
Lead complex sales cycles from initial prospecting through to contract negotiation and closure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams--including product, marketing, and solution consulting--to deliver tailored, high-impact client solutions
Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics
Represent FIS at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to build brand awareness and generate leads
Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management using CRM tools
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across the FIS product suite

What You Bring

Proven success in enterprise sales within financial services, with a focus on selling to banks in the UK & Ireland
Strong domain expertise in core banking systems, digital transformation, and payment technologies
Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence C-level executives
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
A proactive, self-starter mindset with a passion for fintech innovation and client success
Experience managing long sales cycles and delivering results in a quota-driven environment
