Vice President - IT & Engineering Solutions
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President to lead all aspects of our IT & Engineering business in the United States. This executive role will oversee business development, operations, and technology teams, with a strong focus on software platforms, real-time data solutions, engineering systems integration, and back-office enterprise technologies.
The Vice President will be responsible for building and scaling teams, driving commercial growth, ensuring operational excellence, and leading the development of innovative IT and engineering solutions for both private and public sector clients.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Provide executive leadership across business development, operations, and technology functions.
Define and implement strategies to expand the company's footprint in enterprise software, systems integration, and engineering solutions.
Build, grow, and mentor cross-functional teams to support both current projects and long-term expansion.
Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and with clients, partners, and technology alliances.
Business Development & Commercial Growth
Drive revenue growth by securing projects in software development, engineering platforms, and IT services.
Oversee bid and proposal processes for private sector clients and government contracts.
Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with decision-makers across IT, engineering, and technology markets.
Ensure competitiveness by shaping commercial offers aligned with market and regulatory requirements.
Operations & Delivery
Ensure delivery of software and engineering projects on time, within budget, and to scope.
Oversee deployment, integration, and support of IT systems, real-time data solutions, and enterprise software.
Lead operational teams in scaling processes and improving efficiency as the client base grows.
Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and cybersecurity standards.
Technology & Innovation
Guide technology teams in developing and enhancing engineering platforms, back-office systems, and real-time IT solutions.
Align product development with evolving customer needs, with a focus on scalability, integration, and reliability.
Champion adoption of new technologies (cloud-native systems, AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, APIs) to maintain competitive advantage.
Support creation of best-in-class solutions that improve user experience, system performance, and client operations.
Requirements
Experience
15+ years in IT, Engineering, or Technology Services.
Proven track record in executive leadership across business development, operations, and technology.
Strong background in software platforms, systems integration, and engineering solutions.
Previous P&L responsibility and budget management experience.
Demonstrated success managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Skills & Competencies
Strategic and commercially focused mindset.
Exceptional leadership skills with ability to build, grow, and lead high-performing teams.
Strong technical understanding of software engineering, IT systems, and integration platforms.
Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
