With a total headcount of just under 400 employees, DataHouse has offices in Hawai`i, Vietnam and California. Its target sectors include state and local government, education, and health care organizations in Hawaii, California and the Philippines.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Chief Operations Officer (COO) will play a critical role in leading and scaling DataHouse's global operational strategy. With both onshore and offshore teams, this role will oversee delivery excellence, resource planning, and service execution, while supporting strategic business alliances, human resources, and cultural development. The COO will ensure operational alignment with business goals and drive innovation across diverse teams and projects.
This role requires a clear and confident communicator who can engage effectively both internally and externally.
The ideal candidate will possess the leadership caliber to scale global technical teams, mentor emerging talent, and cultivate a culture of accountability and innovation. The COO must be comfortable making independent decisions, managing risk, and driving outcomes. While not directly responsible for sales, the COO will actively support business development by articulating value, engaging with clients, and representing the company with credibility and confidence. The ideal candidate is a seasoned executive with over 15 years of leadership experience in IT consulting, systems integration, or enterprise transformation. They possess a strategic mindset, proven success in managing global operations, and a deep understanding of public sector transformation and IT implementation. Strong communication skills, executive presence, and a passion for mentoring high-performing teams are essential. Experience in Agile methodologies and professional service delivery frameworks is highly valued.
Founded and headquartered in Hawai`i, DataHouse has a legacy of attracting the best and brightest technical talent from Hawaii and abroad. Although some domestic and international travel will be expected, the COO will be based in DataHouse's Honolulu office.
Target Annual Salary: $200,000- $225,000
