Full Stack Developer - NYC

Rate Server Technology Team

We are seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Angular and Microservices to join our Rate Server Technology team in New York City. This is a hands-on role for someone who can take ownership of end-to-end systems, build and enhance applications, ensure delivery commitments are met, and support operations during EST trading hours when needed.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with business and technology teams across the organization to understand requirements and deliver innovative, scalable solutions that power critical applications.

What You'll Do

Design, architect, and implement microservices and Web API-based platforms (front-end and back-end).
Enhance and maintain existing applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
Provide production support and guidance to operations teams.
Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
Drive best practices in testing, DevOps, and Agile development.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of software development experience.
Strong expertise with Core Java and Spring Boot .
Proven experience designing and developing Microservices (Web APIs, OAuth) .
Proficiency with SQL Server (DB design, stored procedures, functions).
Ability to troubleshoot and support both .NET and Java systems.
Solid experience in unit testing and Agile methodologies.
Hands-on with Kubernetes (AppEngine), Jira, Git CI/CD, DevOps tools.

Preferred / Nice To Have

Strong skills in ASP.NET , C#, and .NET Core .
Front-end development experience with Angular, React, JavaScript, HTML .
Competency with SSIS, SSRS .
Familiarity with Kafka messaging and Hazelcast caching .
Knowledge of Python and PowerShell scripting.
Understanding of market data and financial instruments .
