My client, a leading quantitative trading and investment firm, is looking to hire a Software Engineer (3-6 years' experience) to join a newly formed finance technology team.

This is a high-impact role within a highly technical, collaborative environment, where you will design and deliver scalable, business-critical applications that directly support finance, operations, and ventures. The position offers exposure to distributed systems, concurrent programming, and modern engineering practices, with significant visibility across the business.

You'll work closely with stakeholders from day one, owning projects end-to-end and shaping systems that sit at the intersection of technology and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with finance and operations teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Take ownership of projects across the full development lifecycle, from design and implementation to stakeholder engagement.
Contribute to a high-performance culture by driving technical best practices and delivering business-critical software.

Requirements:

3-6 years of professional software engineering experience (flexible for exceptional candidates).
Strong computer science fundamentals; degree in Computer Science preferred, though Maths, Physics, or Statistics backgrounds also welcome.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language: Java, C++, Rust, C#, Python, or Go.
Solid understanding of distributed systems and concurrent programming desirable.
Technical leadership at project level relevant, though heavy management backgrounds are not suitable.
Full-stack skills (JavaScript/GUI) helpful but not essential; Golang exposure a plus.

My client anticipates to pay a strong performer upwards of PS300k year 1 total compensation package.
