Solution Engineer - Observability / Monitoring

Belgium (Hybrid / On-site) | International Telco & IT Environment

Are you ready to stand at the crossroads of new technologies and service management?

We're looking for a Solution Engineer to help design and implement next-generation monitoring and observability infrastructure. This role will directly impact how millions of customers experience critical services in a fast-evolving telecom/IT landscape.

Your Mission

Shape monitoring requirements in business & technical projects from the start.
Analyse specifications, design solutions, and implement observability tools.
Translate infrastructure/network events into real-time service/customer impact views.
Manage, configure, and integrate observability platforms across the business.

What You Bring

Background in OSS, service assurance, or observability in complex IT & Telco environments.
Strong knowledge of networks (QoS, topologies, SDWAN a plus) & IT systems (OS, databases, virtualization).
Hands-on with event management, monitoring, and observability protocols.
Experience scripting in Python and Perl.
Bonus: familiarity with LiveSP / LiveAction, ITIL/eTOM, and DevOps/agile principles.
Analytical, collaborative, proactive mindset -- you thrive in cross-functional teams.
