Job Specifications
This is a staff augmentation position requiring a skilled Business Analyst to support a large-scale financial management transformation project. The analyst will work across business units to perform detailed business and systems analysis, requirements documentation, testing, and quality assurance. The role will involve close collaboration with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to ensure business processes and systems align with modernization efforts.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or related field (equivalent work experience may substitute).
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 5 years of Business Process Analysis and Systems Analysis.
Proficiency in process mapping/modeling (Visio or similar tools).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Proficiency in SQL queries and data analysis.
Experience with Microsoft DevOps (highly desired).
Technical experience with IBM Mainframe, Distributed, and Cloud environments (highly desired).
Knowledge of data migration, change/release management, and testing/QA tools/techniques (desired).
Agile project experience and use of Azure DevOps for requirements/backlogs management (preferred).
Familiarity with relevant project management rules and frameworks (desired).
Primary Responsibilities
Research and document business processes and their interrelationships.
Create process diagrams and system dependency documentation.
Analyze impacts on business systems related to financial system modernization.
Facilitate joint analysis workshops with business units.
Gather and document requirements as user stories in Azure DevOps and other tools.
Manage work backlogs and items through Azure DevOps.
Coordinate with development and QA teams.
Develop test plans, test cases, and coordinate testing/QA activities.
Review deliverables for compliance with standards.
