Contract to Hire
Hourly: $40-100/hr depending on experience
Location: Hybrid in Manhattan, NY (3 days onsite)
Position Overview
This role will work closely with business and technical teams to align solutions with organizational needs, with responsibilities spanning requirements gathering, project management, testing, and stakeholder coordination.
The Senior Technical Business Analyst will bridge the gap between IT and the business, ensuring that technical solutions align with business objectives. This role involves analyzing complex business requirements, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and implementing effective technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
Translate business requirements into technical specifications
Analyze data using SQL and create reports using Power BI
Develop process flows and diagrams using Visio to communicate business processes
Utilize Excel PivotTables for data analysis and reporting
Support project management teams in the execution of technology projects
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to end-users
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
Proficient in Azure services and architecture
Strong SQL skills for data retrieval and manipulation
Experience with Power BI for data visualization
Advanced skills in Excel, including PivotTables and data analysis
Familiarity with Visio for process modeling and documentation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
