Full Stack Software Engineer PS50-PS90,000 (dependent on experience level) - remote
Our client, a start-up that aims to create a new way to meet people, create lasting friendships, and rewrite the way we connect in real life, is seeking a talented, experienced Back End leaning full stack product engineer to join their team.
We are looking for product-focussed, Back End-leaning, full-stack engineer. This role is about more than writing code. You will work in a small team to understand customer and business problems, then you'll be helping to plan a pragmatic technical roadmap and delivering against that. This is a start-up so you've got to love product engineering as well as writing well crafted code. You will need to be pragmatic, take ownership, have a product mindset and be reliable with great communication skills. As part of a small team sometimes the need may arise for step up above and beyond to get the job done.
Skills and experience:
5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
Ideally, experience with JavaScript/Typescript and GCP
Strong system design experience. Able to explain architectural trade-offs.
Strong Back End development skills and experience designing resilient systems.
Strong experience building secure and performant REST endpoints.
