Job Specifications

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Warehouse Engineer to lead our modernization and performance optimization initiatives. This role involves re-platforming legacy systems, enhancing warehouse architecture, and driving efficiency across complex data processes. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert with a deep understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and large-scale automation using enterprise scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute data warehouse modernization and re-platforming projects.
Analyze system performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
Design, build, and maintain efficient ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration solutions.
Develop and fine-tune complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for high-performance processing.
Automate and monitor batch data processes using Shell scripting on UNIX/Linux platforms.
Manage job scheduling and workflow orchestration in Control-M or similar tools.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for performance issues and ensure long-term stability.
Define and enforce best practices in data warehouse coding, architecture, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in data warehousing, with hands-on modernization and optimization work.
Expert in SQL and PL/SQL, with strong background in Oracle or equivalent databases.
Advanced Shell scripting experience for automation and system monitoring.
Proven experience with Control-M or enterprise job scheduling tools.
Solid understanding of data warehouse architecture and dimensional modeling.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration ability.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Perl or Python for data scripting and automation.
Knowledge of Git for version control.
Familiarity with incident and change management tools like JIRA or ServiceNow.
