Job Specifications
Our client, a music distribution platform, is looking for a freelance Social Media Specialist to join their team. This is a 15-20 hour per week role, and will be ongoing / open-ended. It could go full-time down the road for the right person! Ideally the client would like to find someone who can come onsite as-needed to their Brooklyn, NY office but does have remote flexibility.
The Social Media Specialist Will
work alongside their CD and social team to execute on their social strategy, across primarily Instagram and TikTok
handle all posting, and community management (reply to comments, engage with followers, etc.)
make recommendations, and analyze their data / analytics to share with the team to suggest changes
use Sprout Social to manage posting, and track accounts
The Social Media Specialist Has
ideally 4+ years of experience in social media, preferably from a music company or from an agency working on music clients
fluency in Sprout Social, and experience working on Instagram and TikTok
interest / passion for music and the music space
close proximity to Brooklyn NY / availability to come onsite for team meetings, brainstorms, etc.
any content creation experience is a plus, but not required.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
