Job Description:

Deep Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of Google Workspace Administration and Development, Security Center, Cloud Identity, and Google Vault.

Programming: Strong experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, NodeJS) for developing Workspace API integrations (Admin SDK, Drive API, Docs & Sheets API).

Security Focus: Proven ability to design and implement security controls, including zero trust access policies, OAuth 2.0 application security, data protections, and Google Workspace security and administration policy controls.

Soft Skills: Exceptional ability to provide technical leadership, mentor developers, and communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to the Customer and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

Provide Technical oversight on the end-to-end design of the Google Workspace components integrated into the broader application workflow, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Engage with the customer on defining the architecture for Google Workspace / Cloud Identity, Access Management / Context-Aware Access Policy, Service configuration and security, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) within the Workspace environment; provide advice on federation with external IdP.

Provide administrator training and guidance on administrative roles, policies, and practices.

Design solutions for secure, efficient collaboration using Google Drive, and Docs, including API-driven workflows for document generation, file storage, and sharing controls.

Establish technical standards and guardrails for integrating Workspace with other components (e.g., GCP services, third-party systems) using tools like Apigee or Cloud Functions for APIs.

Serve as the subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and best practices to the development and engineering teams to ensure optimal utilization of Workspace APIs (e.g., Drive API, Admin SDK, Docs API).

Conduct security reviews and risk assessments on all Workspace-related designs and implementations, proactively identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities.

Provide Tier 3 technical expertise for complex or critical issues related to Workspace functionality, identity, or API integrations.

Communicate the technical vision and security implications of the Workspace architecture to non-technical and executive stakeholders.

Develop and deliver end-user training and support materials for Google Workspace, focused on collaboration with Google Drive and Editors.
