Our client is currently seeking an Opera Cloud PMS Engineer

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day technical support through ServiceNow, managing incidents, service requests, and escalations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payment gateways, terminals, and middleware in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
Maintain and support Oracle Opera Cloud PMS integrations to ensure reliable hotel payment operations.
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation tools to streamline workflows and reporting.
Manage payment device connectivity, including POS systems and network configurations.
Create and maintain technical documentation such as SOPs, knowledge base articles, and integration guides.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira and other platforms to track and resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and other security standards in all technical operations.
Participate in system integration projects, gaining hands-on experience with PMS, POS, and payment gateway connections.
Monitor systems proactively using tools like Datadog or Splunk to identify and prevent issues.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience with ServiceNow or similar helpdesk platforms.
Background in hotel IT operations and property-level systems.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Opera Cloud PMS.
Understanding of payment gateways, transaction flows, and tokenization.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
Basic networking knowledge (e.g., IPs, ports, firewalls, VPNs).
Familiarity with PCI DSS and cardholder data security principles.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Eagerness to learn and grow in the payments technology domain.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong troubleshooting skills in complex technical environments.
Experience writing technical documentation (SOPs, KBs, runbooks).
Familiarity with Jira for ticketing and agile workflows.
Exposure to payment device management (terminals, middleware).
Experience with cloud platforms and REST APIs.
Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools such as Datadog or Splunk.

Rate:$50-60/HR
