Senior Wintel Engineer / Windows Infrastructure Engineer - Hedge Fund, London

Multi-strategy hedge fund in Central London seeks a Senior Wintel Engineer / Windows Infrastructure Engineer, to join an expanding team and work on advanced infrastructure challenges. This is a hands-on engineering role within a highly technical and collaborative environment, where you'll help shape and support the systems for global trading and research.

Role

Design, build, and integrate core infrastructure systems across Windows platforms.
Support and enhance the firm's operating systems, authentication, virtualization, messaging, and network.
Develop automation tools and infrastructure software to drive reliability, scalability, and performance.
Diagnose and resolve complex, high-impact infrastructure and performance issues.
Collaborate with world-class technologists across teams to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure solutions.

Required Experience

Deep technical expertise across Microsoft infrastructure technologies
Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell.
Passionate about performance, reliability, and clean engineering design.
A proactive problem solver with excellent troubleshooting skills and high attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
