Job Title: Full Stack Java Developer - AI Agents

*You MUST have 2+ years of experience with Akka Libraries versus Akka SDK, Event Sourcing, Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS) to be considered for this role.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Java Developer to work with a cross-functional team of Consultants, AI, & DevOps engineers to design, build, and deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that are driving AI innovations for our healthcare client in the contact centre AI space.

Working hours - 40 hours per week

Full-time contract - Contractor

Work Location: Onsite/Remote/Hybrid - Hybrid - Toronto, Ontario

Contract Length - 2 months (with possibility of extension)

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, deploy, and optimize scalable Java-based Akka components (Actors, Agents, and Workflows) using Akka SDK
Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate with self-hosted LLM models
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
Expand the capabilities of the AngularJS based UI

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in full-stack Java development
Experience and opinions on Akka Libraries versus Akka SDK, Event Sourcing, Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS)
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, gRPC, MCP, microservices architecture, and websockets
Hands-on experience / in-depth expertise in all items in the tech stack below
