Senior Business Analyst
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Must Haves:
8+ years' experience in business analysis
Demonstrated experience facilitating JAD session
Demonstrated experience in unit testing and system testing
Knowledge and Skills:
Creating detailed business analysis documents, user stories, business case
Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills
A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft suite including, Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
Outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business
Budgeting and forecasting
Hands on experience in various project and product delivery methodologies such as:
Agile
Waterfall
Iterative Agile
Product management
Evaluation Criteria:
Criteria 1: Business Analyst Skills
Oral and written communication skills, Interpersonal and consultative skills, Facilitation skills
Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
Demonstrable knowledge of applying formal system development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies, waterfall and iterative (agile)
Contribute to technical policies, plans, procedures, standards, guidelines, tools, techniques, documentation and performance criteria for the Integration Framework
Criteria 2: Technical Skills
Programming languages, Common operating systems, Software proficiency
Participate in governance working group meetings, analysing, recommending, documenting and implementing architecture, operational, SDLC and information architecture best practices.
Criteria 3: Communications Skills
Demonstrated experience in negotiating with business stakeholders on functional design issues and detailed solution design sessions, negotiating on issues for production
Experience in documenting project status reports, project tracking for resources, finances, progress, issues and risks
Must Haves:
Experience with Azure cloud technologies.
Figma, HTML, CSS
Creating detailed business analysis documents, user stories, business case
Demonstrated experience facilitating JAD session
8+ years' experience in business analysis
Nice to have:
Experience with user centric website/forms design
