Role: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Glasgow, 2 days p/w

Compensation: Up to PS95,000 fixed salary + bonuses

Looking to contribute towards establishing a Core SRE team at a globally respected, Tier 1 Financial Institution?

This is a newly created, transformational focused role where you'll be tasked with understanding and establishing best practices around SRE, whilst raising awareness about this practice with the different technology and information security teams across the globe.

Responsibilities:

Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability through proactive monitoring and planning.
Resolve outages, analyze root causes, and prevent recurrence.
Automate operations to boost efficiency and resilience.
Optimize performance and resource usage.
Collaborate across teams to embed best practices and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

5 years+ experience in a Reliability Engineering role or similar
Strong programming and scripting skills (Python, Powershell, Go)
Incident Management/Response experience
Strong familiarity with Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
System Engineering and Automation Proficiency
Excellent communication skills

Location(s):

Glasgow HQ, 2 days per week
Manchester is an option

Compensation:

PS85,000 - PS95,000 fixed salary
Bonus and excellent benefits
