Position: Teaching Expert [New Research Project]

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $50-$70/hour

Duration: 1-2 months (extension feasible)

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hours/week (Part time)

Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided)

Collaborate with researchers to create realistic and engaging teaching scenarios that can be used to benchmark and improve AI models.
Design, review, and refine teaching-style prompts, responses, work products, and other teaching materials to enhance AI-driven educational tools.
Provide critical feedback on the logic, clarity, and educational value of the AI-generated content.
Work closely with a team and independently to complete small project sprints, iterating on the structure of the project as needed to improve results.
Be willing to work in an experimental environment, where collaboration with the project team and ongoing iteration are key to success.

Requirements

Strong professional experience of recent experience teaching full-time at the middle or high school
Strong online research and analytical skills, with a focus on educational value and clarity.
Ability to work within a small team and a willingness to iterate on the project structure.
Excellent written communication skills, with high attention to detail.
