Title: Business Analyst (Annuities)

Location: Remote (Not NY, NJ, TX or CA)

Pay: 90-120k base salary, plus bonus

Job Summary: We are searching for an experienced Business Analyst to join the team and help lead the future of Business Process efficiency for this leading National Association of Life and Annuity Insurance companies. In this role you will work closely with the internal Senior leaders (stakeholders) to work on improving process, modernization initiatives, journey mapping, visualizations,/dashboards, reporting, and documentation. We are looking for someone who can work well with other business units across the company, has strong communication skills, can "tell the story" and who is comfortable delivering presentations to various stakeholders. Required experience will include strong experience with EXCEL and PowerBI or Tableau. This position can be remote but CA, NY, NJ and TX are not viable locations. Experience with Annuity products and process/operations is required. Experience working for a Life/Annuity Carrier or IMO is strongly desired. Experience with a SaaS solutions provider like iPipeline or similar will also be considered.

Primary Responsibilities Include

- Working with internal and external (member companies) stakeholders, requirement gathering

- Process analysis and workflow optimization

- Designing and implementing automations where able

- General project management and pushing projects forward, tracking, reporting, etc.

- Continuous improvement initiatives

- Risk mitigation

- Meetings and presentations

- Tracking progress related to specific KPIs or OKRs

Requirements Include

- Bachelor Information Systems, or related field desired, not required

- 7-10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Ops Manager

- Experience working with Annuity products, related data and operational processes

- Strong Experience With Excel And PowerBI/Tableau (required)

- Strong written & verbal interpersonal skills (presentation skills preferred)

- Stakeholder management

- Strong Project Management skills (do not need PMP)

- Ability to make sense of raw data, analyze data, reimagine and redesign the data

- Workflows and integrations

- Experience with journey mapping

- Experience monitoring various hosting platforms and related API data

- Any experience with SCRUM is a plus

- Experience with GitHub or similar is a plus
