We are looking for a SYSTEMS ARCHITECT (MBSE) with to work in GRAND RAPIDS, MI to support the development of MILITARY AVIONICS AND AEROSPACE ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS. Ideal candidate has strong experience with MODEL BASED SYSTEMS ENGINEERING USING CAMEO and is willing to work onsite in Grand Rapids, MI. This is an estimated 12+ month long term W2 contract (with possibility of extensions and/or conversion to full time employment).

This person will be responsible for creating engineering road map to stitch together multiple cards in different languages and help them communicate to each other. This program is in early stages of development "prototyping" and utilizing new technology.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be committed to working a long term W2 contract role onsite in Grand Rapids, MI
Bachelor's degree or higher required (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar)
Strong Model Based Systems Engineering experience (CAMEO preferred)
Ability to obtain secret clearance in the future (not required to start)
Minimum 5+ years of system engineering experience for avionics, aerospace, or similar military products
Must have experience developing and communicated computing system architectures based on several requirement inputs and standards
Must have basic embedded programming experience (e.g. python, C++)
Must have experience integrating software and hardware into an embedded system (military system development is a plus)
Experience with hardware architectures including (Intel i7-1380, NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC or MPSoC) is highly desired
Experience with any of the following standards is a plus (NIST 800-53, SOSA, CMOSS, CMFF, FACE)
Experience with publish & subscribe methodologies and standards is desired (knowledge of RTI Connect client is a plus)
