One of our PE backed Telecoms businesses is looking for a Finance Business Analyst (specialising in transactional finance such as AP/AR/Cash Management) to join on an interim basis.
Role: Finance Business Analyst (AP/AR/Cash Management)
Location: 3 days a week in Southampton
Day rate: PS450-PS550pd Outside IR35
Contract length: 6-9 months initially
Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Business Analyst to support the delivery of strategic finance transformation initiatives. This role combines project management, business analysis, and change enablement to ensure successful implementation of process and system improvements across the finance function.
Role Purpose:
The role offers the opportunity to lead finance transformation alongside the Head of Transactional Finance within our AP, AR & Cash Management functions. We're looking for a forward-thinking individual to assess current processes, drive operational efficiency, and lead a strategic workstream as part of our Finance Transformation programme. The goal is to enhance efficiency, simplify operations, and embed a culture of sustainable improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Scope and develop project charters aligned with transformation goals alongside Process Owners and Head of Finance Transformation
Collaborate with SMEs/Process Owners to document As-Is processes and system requirements
Design future To-Be processes that align with strategic objectives
Define and manage project milestones, timelines, and deliverables
Track progress and report status updates to the Head of Finance Transformation
Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, validate designs, and drive stakeholder engagement
Requirements
Proven transactional finance (AP/AR and Cash Management) transformation experience as a BA/PM designing and delivering people, process and technology change
Strong AP/AP/Cash Management process design/transformation experience critical
Experience automating key finance processes within AP/AP/Cash Management
Post-acquisition R2R/finance integration experience a big bonus
High EQ and strong communications needed - experience in an unstructured, immature to change business needed
Business Analyst experience, mapping and designing business processes end-to-end
Project Management experience managing project plans, timelines and interdependencies for finance transformation initiatives
