We are looking for a hands-on Integration Architect to design and implement scalable, high-performance integrations across our enterprise systems. This role combines architecture leadership with practical development, requiring expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Java microservices, and API management.
You will collaborate with solution architects, functional analysts, and developers to define robust integration strategies, focusing on microservices, event-driven architectures, and API exposure via Apigee X. You will actively contribute to project execution, ensuring seamless data flow across enterprise applications, including SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, and cloud-native platforms.
Beyond project work, you will work with the Enterprise Architecture team, leveraging BizzDesign and Archimate models to align integration strategies with the broader technology vision.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIESArchitect and develop integration solutions supporting enterprise-wide needs.
Define and document integration designs using BizzDesign and Archimate models.
Design and implement microservices-based integrations on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Develop Java-based microservices, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Expose APIs through Apigee X, ensuring proper governance and security policies.
Leverage GCP Pub/Sub for event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.
Work closely with developers to implement integrations, perform code reviews, and ensure best practices.
Test and validate integrations using Postman, ensuring reliability and compliance with requirements.
Collaborate with functional analysts and business users to define and optimize system integration flows.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring development teams on best practices.
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and continuously improve integration architectures.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS5+ years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in integration architecture and development.
Hands-on experience with GCP-based microservices, including:
Java for backend development
Apigee X for API exposure and management
GCP Pub/Sub for event-driven communication
Postman for API testing
Strong background in enterprise system integrations (SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, etc.)
Experience using BizzDesign and Archimate for architecture documentation
Assets:Expertise in companies from the Manufacturing, Transportation, Automotive, and Aerospace sectors
Experience with international companies operating across multiple continents
Experience in multi-site organizations
